CAIO is João Santos, a multidisciplinary artist, producer, composer and singer from Lisbon. His music mixes folk with contemporary influences, exploring themes such as personal growth, the search for identity and the emotions of everyday life. With sincere writing and his own style, he has been gaining more and more ground on the Portuguese music scene. 

In 2016, at just 19 years old, she made her debut with the EP “Desassossego”, presenting an intimate sound. The following year, he released his first album, Viagem (2017), where the single “Partida” stood out. Recognition came with Mundo Incerto (2018), an album with which he solidified his presence in national music. In 2019, in addition to composing the track “Memórias de Amor” for the documentary “Leva-me Contigo”, he released the EP “Retratos”, with which he brought us a more expansive sound. After a break due to the pandemic, CAIO returned in 2022 with Travessia, a more personal album. In 2024, he released Ritmo da Procura, a more mature and introspective album that explores the search for meaning and the impact of time. This project reaffirms CAIO as one of the strongest and most authentic presences in Portuguese music.
