Born in Braga in 1994, João Barroso has had a connection with music from a very young age. Also known as Vøltt in his project linked exclusively to techno music, the artist has always been interested in a wide spectrum of electronic music and it was the need to explore other aspects that led him to create the alter-ego Jota (the nickname by which he is known), where he has shown the public the result of his digging through waves that pass through Breaks, Electro, Breakbeat, Dubstep, House and much more.
