After “My Own Man” and “Live For Tomorrow”, the first two singles ahead of the album, Monstro are preparing to release their debut album in the fall of this year. Until then, a third single will be presented, the first in Portuguese: “Despertar”, a song that anticipates the sound universe of the upcoming album.

Inspired by the pop music of the 1960’s, Monstro transport us to a universe where melancholy is the raw material for intense and intimate songs. Gonçalo Ferreira and Isaac Oliveira, the two minds behind this monster, are long-time friends. To join them, they invited musicians João Vitor Costeira, Mafalda BS and David Ferreira.
