The Moonshiners are a Portuguese blues/rock band formed by Gamblin' Sam, Susie Filipe and Vítor Hugo. Their debut album Good News For Girls Who Have No Sex Appeal came out in 2018. In 2024, they released the EP "Monkey's Poetry", marking their new phase with a blues-rock aesthetic that incorporates electronic elements, such as synthesizers and modulars, in six new intimate songs. The single "Rock and Roll Queen" exemplifies this evolution, maintaining the band's visceral identity with new melodies and sound spectra.
