Asa Cobra is a Portuguese-Brazilian band formed in 2024, bringing together the poetic intensity of singer and lyricist Carollyne Barreira (Brazil) with the experience of producers and musicians Marco Castro and Igor Domingues (Portugal - Throes + The Shine). Inspired by Bezerra da Silva’s provocative maxim - “If God gave wings to the snake, the world wouldn’t be lost” - the

band emerges as a sonic manifesto where revolt and love walk hand in hand.

Their musical identity blends Afro-Brazilian rhythms, electronic sounds, and organic elements, creating a soundscape that moves between the ethereal and the pulsating, between confrontation and whisper. Words occupy a central place, with multilayered lyrics reflecting both political tensions and the intimate forces shaping human experience.
