Actress Hiam Abbass built her career between France and the U.S., leaving her family and country at 23. Years later, she began visiting her hometown in Palestine with her daughter, Lina Soualem. Lina became a filmmaker and, using family vacation footage, created an intimate documentary about four generations of women and their stories of separation.
