Natural from Glasgow and formed in 2001, Franz Ferdinand are an alternative rock band, known for their dance music that mixes post-punk, indie rock and new wave, and also for having revitalized the alternative rock scene at the time they emerged. Their debut album, Franz Ferdinand (2004), was a huge hit with the single “Take Me Out” and became an indie classic. The band went on to release acclaimed albums such as You Could Have It So Much Better (2005) and Tonight (2009), maintaining a loyal fan base and being influential in the music scene of the 2000's. They are now returning to the stage to present their latest album The Human Fear, due for release in January 2025.
