Janeiro is a Portuguese singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist who has established himself as one of the most solid and distinctive voices in contemporary Portuguese music. His sound blends Portuguese folk music with influences from MPB, jazz, and electronic music, resulting in a sophisticated, contemporary, and eclectic project.

With a well-established career since 2015 and national recognition following his appearance at the Festival da Canção, he has continued to develop a consistent artistic identity through various released works. Of particular note is the album Fugacidade, nominated for a Latin Grammy in the Best Contemporary Pop Album category and widely acclaimed by critics, including mentions on the international circuit such as NPR’s Tiny Desk (Alt.Latino).

On stage, she delivers an engaging and intimate performance, marked by musical quality, attention to detail, and a strong connection with the audience, adapting equally well to venues, festivals, and leading cultural programs.

She is currently preparing her new album Reticências – Uma Nova Versão de Nós, scheduled for release in September 2026, while expanding her work in the areas of music production and sound design.
