Joana Alegre is a Portuguese indie pop singer-songwriter who draws inspiration from folk rock, traditional music, and singer-songwriter styles. She became known to the general public with “E Agora?”, a duet with Mikkel Solnado. She placed third on The Voice Portugal in 2020 and was a finalist twice at the Festival da Canção (2021 and 2025).

Recognized for her songwriting, powerful voice, and stage presence, she has performed in Portugal and abroad, and in 2025 she was an Official Showcase Artist for Folk Alliance International in Canada.

Among other projects and collaborations, in 2026 she will begin a new artistic chapter with “Na Minha Concha,” the first single from her upcoming album of original songs.
