Summer of Hate (S º H, SOH) is a shoegaze band from Espinho, formed by João Martins along with Laura Calado, Pedro Lopes, and Fábio Pereira, plus two additional guitarists, Xavier Valente and Ricardo Fonseca. 

Their sound is rooted in shoegaze and psychedelic music, with influences from 1960s rock and pop - including the 1980’s revival of those genres (Echo & the Bunnymen, The Church, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Spacemen 3) - as well as post-punk, noise rock, world music, and Middle Eastern classical and folk music.
