Terraplana is a Brazilian shoegaze and alternative rock band formed in 2017 in Curitiba, Paraná. They quickly stood out for their engaging and introspective sound, where textured guitars, ethereal vocals, and emotional lyrics intersect, creating a soundscape full of nostalgia and depth. With their first EP, “Exílio” (2017), the band revealed their ability to explore rich layers of sound, blending shoegaze, post-rock, slowcore, and indie in a natural and captivating way.

Their recognition grew with their debut album, olhar pra trás (2023), which received critical acclaim and consolidated the group's place in the Brazilian alternative scene. In 2025, they released their second album, natural, produced by JooJoo Ashworth, which further expands the emotional intensity and textures of their sound, with atmospheric guitars and passages of great sonic impact. The latter confirmed them as one of the most original, consistent, and promising acts in contemporary alternative rock in Brazil.
