Through the deep, cathartic elements of post-punk, Irish music The Murder Capital explores the darker side of society.

Although each of the five elements comes from different locations in Ireland, it was while students at BIMM - Music College Dublin that the band led by James McGovern and Damien Tuit took their first steps into the music industry. Along with Diarmuid Brennan, Cathal Roper and Gabriel Paschal Blake, the quintet released their debut single “More Is Less” in 2018 and thanks to the online furor, the post-punk band gained critical attention. The first album When I Have Fears came out shortly after, in 2019, and was produced by Mark Ellis (Flood).
